Echo Social is run by me, Sam Knowles. This page explains what information I collect through echosocial.agency, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. If you have any questions, email hello@echosocial.agency.
What I collect
- What you type into a form: your name, email, brand name, website, monthly ad spend and anything you tell me about your business.
- How you found the site: the ad or link you clicked (for example a campaign name), so I know which ads are working.
- How you use the site: pages visited and actions taken, through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
- Bookings: if you book a call, the details you give Calendly.
Why I use it
- To reply to you, record the audit or breakdown you asked for, and prepare for our call.
- To follow up about my services after you've been in touch. You can tell me to stop at any time.
- To measure and improve my own advertising and this website.
I rely on your consent where you give it (for example by submitting a form) and on my legitimate interest in running and promoting my business. I never sell your information.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions.
- Calendly handles call bookings.
- Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) measures site usage.
- Meta (the Meta Pixel) measures the results of my Facebook and Instagram ads.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel use cookies and similar technology to measure visits and ad results. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details for up to two years after we were last in touch, unless we start working together, in which case I keep what I need for the length of the work and my legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your information, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to me using it. Email hello@echosocial.agency and I'll sort it. If you're not happy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
